One of J.B.Stevenson's 'Cote' azaleas, bred at Tower Court and named after the family dogs. Pale pink and late-flowering, scented.

Deciduous shrub. Uniquely shaped leaves in whorls at the end of the branches. Pink, with darker tinges, flowers spotted crimson, Good in cold gardens. Grows wild in open woodland in Korea. There are white forms.

Azalea viscosum rhodanthum Pink Swamp Honeysuckle

Common name describes it well. Pink flowers with long tube.Very valuable for its lateness and superb scent, passed on to its many hybrids. Likes relatively moist soil. Widespread in East USA. Tolerates swampy conditions in the wild, growing on hummocks.
